It’s almost summer break – Don’t break your wallet!
Tips about saving money during the summer school break.

Parents – It’s that time of the year. School’s almost out, and like most, your summer wallet can get depleted. Here are few tips to save money this summer:
Are the kids always hungry? - Pick meals that are easy to prepare and cost effective. Choose long lasting snacks, like crunchy fruits and veggies. Be sure they drink plenty of water to avoid dehydration.
Make sure they know your name and face at the library! – Did you know you can check out DVDs and music from the library, as well as read magazines on your mobile device?

Don’t drive out all of the fuel! – As you run errands, combine trips and avoid the morning and evening rush hour. Also, on Friday or the last work day of the week, the evening rush hour starts an hour earlier.
Have fun! – Many organizations and businesses have free or discounted summer activities. Choose at home activities and games that don’t use electricity, like a super card game tournament or putting together a 1000 piece puzzle.
