All Solid Waste landfills and container sites will be closed Friday, but will be open for normal hours Saturday, Jan. 2.

Property taxes for real estate and personal property listed in January 2020 will be delinquent if not paid by Jan. 5, 2021. Tax Administration reminds taxpayers of the New Year’s Closing and encourages payment online, by mail or phone. To pay online, go to co.cumberland.nc.us/tax/payments. Anyone who wishes to pay tax in person are reminded of COVID-19 protocol observed at the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Cumberland County Courthouse. Anyone entering the Courthouse is required to wear a mask or face covering and to receive a temperature check.
County offices remain closed to the public due to COVID-19. Most county business can be conducted online, by phone or by scheduling an appointment. The Cumberland County Public Library offers services and programs for all ages online at cumberland.lib.nc.us. Curbside pickup is available during normal business hours. Book drops are open at all locations and items may be returned. All late fees have been waived.
