Cumberland County residents are invited to log in to a virtual information and feedback session on Thursday, July 29, at 6 p.m. and share their thoughts on how American Rescue Plan funding allocated to the County can best serve the community.

On Thursday night, individuals may log in to slido.com and enter code 517527 to join the session and participate in the polling.
The survey is posted on the County’s website at cumberlandcountync.gov/ARP and will close on July 31.

Cumberland County’s ARP allocation is $65 million. The U.S. Department of the Treasury has established eligible uses for the funding and published an Interim Final Rule. Eligible uses for ARP funds by counties include supporting public health expenditures; addressing the negative economic impacts of the pandemic; providing premium pay for essential workers and investing in water, sewer and broadband infrastructure.
