Wow. Although the news was inevitable I was surprised to see the backlash on Facebook. It's apparent who the 'haters' are. Why is this such a hot-button issue in our military community, let alone in the U.S.?
The individuals involved are service members who serve our country in uniform and their dependents. That should count for something - now on the funding end, benefits and including partners- there I can see why the government has not launched forward, and it appears we aren't in the financial shape to tackle that hill just yet.
