The NC Department of Cultural Resources will present a varied mix of artists, musicians, re-enactors, historic sites, and museums in the second year of its popular "2nd Saturdays" summer program.
This event will be called "Arts Fest" and it is sure to draw crowds to our site. We will host a decrative arts themed tour and cooking demonstration in the 1897 Poe House as well as weaving, candle dipping, and watercolor paintings "make and take" crafts for the young and young at heart.
