Big River Interpretive Walks are a wonderful way to discover more about Big River and the Mendocino area. Whether you are a Mendocino Coast resident or a visitor to the area, the Big River Docents will share fascinating stories and facts with you.

Walks meet at the Big River Kiosk at the east end of the Big River Beach parking lot at 10:00 a.m. Anyone under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult. If it is raining the morning of a scheduled walk, that walk will be cancelled.

Directions
Heading south on Highway One from Mendocino, turn left before crossing the Big River Bridge onto North Big River Road. Proceed down to the Big River Beach parking lot. Continue to the left until you see the Big River Kiosk and the rest rooms. Walks will begin at 10:00 a.m. from the Big River Kiosk.
