This event will be held at Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, 1638 Skibo Road, Fayetteville, NC on Saturday, April 13th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. . This is a free event and is open to the general public. Individuals only, no businesses. Don't know what to do with your used, tattered U.S. flags? Bring your retired flags also to our Shred Event and we'll take them to be properly disposed. We hope to see you there on Saturday, April 13th!
Some of the items you might want to consider shredding are:
*Old checks, cancelled checks, bank statements and other banking documents
*Documents containing a social security number or date of birth
*Credit card statements, applications and expired credit cards
*School documents with names, date of birth and social or school ID numbers
*Any document that would enable another person to assume your identity, open a bank account or receive a credit card
