Join us for a visit to six downtown churches listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Churches visited will be First Presbyterian, Evans AME Zion, St. John’s Episcopal, Hay Street Methodist, First Baptist and St. Joseph’s Episcopal.
Also visit the Market House, a site for early religious services, to learn about religion in early Cumberland County.
Participants will travel via bus, but the tour does involve some walking. Space is limited and offered on a first come, first served basis.
