The Fayetteville community joined Kangaroo Express in celebrating what’s “New at the Roo” at its 1764 Ireland Dr. store on Friday, Dec. 6 with games, giveaways, fun for the whole family and a $5,000 check to Mary McArthur Elementary School, helping to provide computers for use in classrooms.
The 1764 Ireland Dr. store is one of 10 Fayetteville-area stores that was recently refreshed. It features upgraded Bean Street Coffee dispensers, designed to preserve the freshness of the coffee. The spacious serving stations have upgraded coffee accessories including a wide variety of coffee flavors and additions such as extra boosts of caffeine and whipped topping, allowing guests to customize their cup of Bean Street Coffee.
In addition to improved Bean Street Coffee, guests at participating stores will be able to enjoy newly offered iced tea and a broader assortment of fresh pastries for on-the-go breakfast and snacks. The new bakery case features glazed donuts, which are almost 40 percent larger than well-known brands, donut-holes, muffins, cheese danishes and more.

The renovations to this store and nine others in the Fayetteville area are prime example of the investments Kangaroo Express is making in its communities across the Southeastern United States, including plans to open more quick-serve restaurants in stores and remodel more than 70 stores. This is the third round of renovations to Fayetteville area stores this year, adding to 25 stores refreshed earlier in the year.
