Fayetteville's own Top Chef contestant to cook at Blue Moon Cafe on Sunday
Sunday night patrons will have a special meal paired with a select brew by a team of experts who know their food and drinks.

The most recently eliminated Top Chef contestant, Lindsay Autry, will show off her cooking skills Sunday evening at a special event at the in historic downtown Fayetteville.
Autry was one of three semi-finalists on the reality cooking show before she was cut.
Sunday evening Autry will be cooking up some Southern style food to be paired with craft beer from Aberdeen's Railhouse Brewery. Featured ingredients for the dinner are local by farmers through Carolina Grown.

"Lindsay has been someone to look up to and I've known her since high school," said Joey Meyers, the culinary chef behind Blue Moon Café. "To have her here is both a rewarding and exciting opportunity for Fayetteville as she gives back to our community."
The Southern fare for the evening is slated to include a first course of boston bibb lettuce with green garden dressing that features fresh herbs garnished with radish and pickled ceviche style seasoned shrimp.
The second course is a Southern twist on grits with sausage and eggs blended fresh herbs and cheeses, served along side baby collard greens.
The third course is none other than fried chicken with all the fixin's to include
kale and carrot cole slaw, brussels sprouts with homemade hot sauce and smashed potatoes with fresh chives and sour cream.
Dessert will be a decadent buttermilk panna cotta, a traditional Italian dessert, paried with a rich chocolate cake.
Tickets went fast at $50 per person and the event sold out, but at 9:30 p.m. the doors open to the public for autographs and a chance to meet Lindsay.
