Female Escaped Attack While Jogging Last Week
Police are urging females to stay vigilant

On the Fort Bragg Spouses Facebook yesterday morning, a story about a woman being attacked while jogging surfaced over the weekend.
The Fayetteville Police confirmed the report and are urging women to use caution when jogging and to be aware of their surroundings.
The 51-year-old woman reported the attack after a man on the 6500 block of Cliffdale, near the , tried to assault her around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The victim said the man was wearing camouflage pants and the man grabbed her in an assault with sexual motives according to the report. The woman
resisted the attach and ran off.

Police conveyed that women should not run alone, but if so, should take well known routes, not near secluded areas. They also advised against wearing headphones might help thwart an attacker.
