Fort Bragg Officer Faces Sex Crimes Charges

Cumberland County Sheriff’s Cyber Crimes Detectives have charged a Fort Bragg Army officer with multiple sex crimes today according to Debbie Tanna, Public Information Officer.

23-year old Lt. Alexander Pace of 43 London Drive on Fort Bragg, allegedly possessed, received and distributed visual images of minors engaged in sexual activities.

Investigators say the offenses occurred between March 3, 2011 and March 21, 2012.  The materials were discovered on Pace’s home computer.

Pace is charged with 19 counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and 19 counts of 3rd degree sexual exploitation of a minor. He is currently being processed in to the Cumberland County Detention Center with bail set at $475,000.
