AIT Platoon Sergeant, SFC Juan J. Mendez Jr. is under investigation for having an ongoing relationship with former AIT soldier throughout and after the soldier graduated from the course. Facebook pictures of the Sergeant First Class and the Private First Class together have also surfaced just this past week. SFC Mendez of 95th Civil Affairs Brigade has had 2 deployments and has been in the service for 10 years and is currently married. S FC Mendez faces an Article 15 and separation from the United States Army.
