Industry veteran Michael P. Smith hired to lead PODS franchise operations across Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas markets
Smith will manage the strategy for PODS local and long-distance moving between the three PODS locations.
QuarterMoore, a PODS franchise operator in the Phoenix, Tucson and Las Vegas markets welcomes Michael P. Smith as its new Vice President of Moving Operations. PODS is the leader in the moving and storage industry providing both residential and commercial services.
Smith will manage the strategy for PODS local and long-distance moving between the three PODS locations. Previously, Smith was Chief Operating Officer of UNITS Moving and Portable Storage, Vice President of Operations for 1800 Packrat, and held executive level positions at FedEx® for 15 years.

A graduate from Marshall University, Smith will also oversee all day-to-day operations by hiring all personnel, training, traveling between all locations, meeting aggressive local and long-distance moving goals, creating market saturation and managing operating budgets.
