Mega Millions Kansas Winner Claims Prize Friday
One of three lottery ticket winners came forward.
The Kansas winner, wishing to remain anonymous, won part of the $656 million Mega Millions lottery won by three individuals. The other two winners have not yet been confirmed, but the tickets came from Illinois and Maryland.
The ticket was purchased at a convenience store in Ottawa, Kansas. The store will get a $10,000 payment for selling the winning ticket according to a Yahoo news report.
The winner opted out of the 26-year payout and chose the lesser cash option of $110.5 million after taxes and fees.

The winning numbers were 2-4-23-38-46, Mega Ball 23.
