Navy Jet Crashes Into Virginia Beach Apartment, 2 Pilots Ejected
Officials are investigating the site of a Navy F-18 crash.
VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - A Navy jet crashed in Virginia Beach and the two aviators aboard ejected before the impact, a Navy spokesman according to CBS News.
As of yet, there are no reports of any injuries on the ground. The Navy said on its official Twitter page that both pilots ejected safely but were being taken to a local hospital for observation.
The Virginian-Pilot quoted a spokesman for Naval Air Force Atlantic who said the F/A-18 Hornet crashed Friday in the vicinity of Birdneck Road.
