Open Days Program Garden Tours - Raleigh


Explore four private gardens in Raleigh, open to the public for
self-guided tours to benefit the Garden Conservancy and the JC Raulston
Arboretum. No reservations required; rain or shine. Begin at the
Arboretum or see www.opendaysprogram.org for additional locations. Hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $5 per private garden; children 12 & under free 





Highlights include statuary and garden art, container plantings,

unusual weeping trees, collections of Japanese maples, heuchera, and

many shade-loving plants, an octagonal gazebo reached by a bridge over a

koi pond, a two-tiered waterfall.
