Singer J. Cole makes Fort Bragg his first stop after releasing new album

Fayetteville raised, J. Cole chose to return to his roots for the debut of his album

Police directed and diverted traffic last night as fans poured in the parking lots to wait in line for J. Cole's autograph inside the Sports U.S.A. on Fort Bragg.

At 7:15 p.m. the crowd in line at the door was at a stand still due to the fire marshall's orders based on the number of people already inside at the maximum capacity limit for the facility.

Early on September 25, J. Cole released the music video for the song 'Daddy's Little Girl'. This week on September 27 was the day that J. Cole has been waiting on for a while. His new album entitled “Cole World” debuted in stores. He is signed to Jay-z’s RocNation label.

Last year he did not get the warm reception returning to his hometown of Fayetteville, NC. Administrators from Fayetteville State University were furious over J. Cole's 'Who Dat' music video because it features the school's cheerleaders and uses profanity.

Graduating in 2003 from Terry Sanford High School, J. Cole that he had a better chance of getting signed in New York City, so he chose to attend St. John's University on an academic scholarship where he majored in communication and minored in business, graduating magna cum laude.
