Victim Identified in Colonial Drive Homicide; One Suspect Arrested, Another Sought by Police
A 21 year old male was identified in the Sept. 4 homicide on Colonial Drive in Fayetteville.
Police responded to a call on Sept. 4 after a body was found behind a residence in the 200 block of Colonial Drive just after 7 a.m.
According to the Fayetteville Police Department, the victim, Garrett Alford, 21, of Glenwood Avenue in Lumberton, NC was shot and killed near the 200 block of Colonial Drive on Tuesday.
Detectives working the case were able to identify Steven Moore, 25, and Rahsheed Williams, 25, as suspects in the case. According to police reports both men are charged with First Degree Murder, Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Robbery with a Deadly Weapon.

As of Wednesday, Sept. 5, Fayetteville Police and the Robeson County Sheriff's Office were able to locate Steven Moore in Robeson County and he was taken into custody. Williams is reportedly still at large.
