VIDEO: Normandy Drop Zone Jump Using T-11 Parachutes

Three chalks of C-130s flew over Normandy Drop Zone on Thursday afternoon.

The first plane dropped 11 paratroopers under the new T-11 model combat parachutes. Lt. Gen. Frank Helmick was first out the door and on the ground.

The use of the T-11 parachutes are set to resume and the brigades will undergo training before the Division is outfitted with 14,000 of them later this year.
