Parents share details after son, 13, dies during football practice (amedpost.com) — Hundreds gathered at Northwest Guilford High School in Greensboro this week to celebrate the life of 13-year-old football player Caden Sorrell, who collapsed at practice and later died after cardiac arrest. His parents are now urging other Greensboro-area families to consider cardiac and genetic testing for young athletes, hoping their loss can help protect other children.
