That means any concert, fair, or public celebration using professional fireworks in Greensboro will need city-issued permits and inspections, while county emergency services will oversee displays elsewhere in Guilford County.
3. Sheriff's Office To Buy Drones, Electric Bikes And Sci-Fi GPS Tracking Dart Guns (rhinotimes.com) — Greensboro is leading a federal grant that will give the Guilford County Sheriff's Office over $74,000 for new law-enforcement tools, including drones, electric bikes, and GPS dart trackers to reduce dangerous high-speed chases.
