3. 9/11 survivor's story inspires remembrance as fundraiser turns reflection into action (abc45.com) — Greensboro neighbors are invited Sunday to a 9/11 remembrance fundraiser at Greensboro Elks Lodge No. 602, featuring a first responders' lunch, silent auction, and family activities. Inspired by a survivor's story and years of community generosity, the event aims to raise $32,000 for the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which supports families of fallen and catastrophically injured heroes.
   

4. Greensboro city leaders plan for housing growth (myfox8.com) — Greensboro leaders are refining their Road to 10,000 housing initiative as the city nears halfway to its goal of 10,000 new homes by 2030.
