The combined city-county rate is about 13% higher, adding hundreds of dollars for many Greensboro properties, and another round of changes is likely when new revaluation figures hit 2027 bills. 
• Greensboro City Council approves 180-day data center moratorium (wfmynews2.com) — Greensboro City Council has approved a 180-day moratorium on considering new data center projects that would use more than 10 megawatts of power, pausing major proposals while officials review their impact. The move follows public calls for an even longer pause and comes as nearby Stokes County continues evaluating its own large-scale data center project.
