3. Greensboro man arrested and charged in Aug. 13 Randleman road shooting, police say (wfmynews2.com) — Greensboro police have arrested a 61-year-old man in connection with an August 13 shooting on Randleman Road that injured two people, bringing serious charges including assault with intent to kill and multiple firearm offenses. The arrest involved local detectives, the SBI, and the Guilford County Sheriff's Office, underscoring the case's seriousness for residents near the 2300 block of Randleman Road.

4. Greensboro police chief addresses recent crime, focuses on targeted violence prevention (wfmynews2.com) — Greensboro's police chief is responding to a recent wave of crime by ramping up intelligence-led policing and partnering closely with the city's Community Safety Department.
