Body of Black man found in Greenville, NC's Tar River (hip-hopvibe.com) — A kayaker on the Tar River near Greenville's Town Common discovered the body of 32-year-old Damon Williams of Beulaville on Sunday morning, prompting a Greenville Police investigation. Authorities say there's currently no evidence of foul play, and the Pitt County Medical Examiner is working to determine cause of death. The park and river remain open as the community awaits answers.
3. ECU hosts Get a Clue event for thousands of students (wnct.com) — ECU's Get A Clue fair in Greenville is drawing thousands of students to explore 260 campus clubs, departments, and local businesses, helping newcomers plug into the community. Organizers say it's a key chance to discover ways to get involved, meet people, and learn what Greenville offers beyond the classroom.
