• Hamlet woman arrested following larceny investigation (yourdailyjournal.com) — A Hamlet woman has been arrested following a months-long Richmond County Sheriff’s Office investigation into alleged larceny and obtaining property by false pretenses. Deputies took the 47-year-old into custody on Sept. 24, and she is being held in Richmond County Jail on a secured bond while the case moves forward in the court system.
