ā¢ Blue Ridge Health plans Family Medicine Residency Program on U.S. 64 West (hendersonvillelightning.com) ā Blue Ridge Health is planning a new three-story medical facility in Hendersonville that will house the Hendersonville Family Medicine Residency Program and expand space for patient care. Located near UNC Health Pardee, the building will add exam rooms, teaching areas, and a drive-through pharmacy, with construction targeted to begin in early 2028 after a planned capital campaign.

ā¢ NCDHHS: Hendersonville gas station, Asheville hotel identified as measles exposure sites (wlos.com) ā Health officials say anyone who visited the Exxon at 1920 Four Seasons Blvd. in Hendersonville on Aug. 25 between 9:30 and 11:45 a.m. may have been exposed to measles and should watch for symptoms through mid-September. The same warning applies to specific hours at an Asheville hotel. Officials urge anyone unvaccinated, especially children, to get the MMR vaccine promptly. Ā Ā Ā
ā¢ Local man faces 20 charges involving child sex-abuse videos (hendersonvillelightning.com) ā A Henderson County man has been jailed without bond on 20 counts related to alleged possession and sharing of child sexual abuse material, following an investigation by the countyās Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force and the SBI. The ICAC unit, which includes Hendersonville Police Department investigators, urges anyone with additional information to contact the sheriffās office or submit a tip through its app. Ā Ā Ā
