1 Injured After Car Drives Through Convenience Store Wall

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A person inside a Huntersville convenience store was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries Wednesday after a SUV drove through an exterior wall of the business, according to Huntersville Fire Department.

The Feb. 26 incident occurred at the Cashion’s Quick Stop at the intersection of Gilead Road and Old Statesville Road in Huntersville.

“Vehicle versus building earlier today,” HFD said. “Resulted in 1 patien (from inside the building) who was transported by [Mecklenburg EMS] with minor injuries,” HFD said.
