18-Year-Old Arrested In Huntersville For Trafficking LSD, Ecstasy

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — An 18-year-old Huntersville man is facing a list of felony drug trafficking and weapons charges after police recently found him in possession of drugs including ecstasy, LSD and more than 4,000 Xanax pills.

Anthony Blaine Byrnes, 18, of Huntersville was arrested Aug. 7 after police executed a search warrant of his home, Huntersville Police Department said.

Byrnes was charged with trafficking MDMA (ecstasy) and LSD; possession of a stolen firearm; felony possession of a Schedule IV drug (4,500 Xanax pills); possession with intent to sell or distribute MDMA, LSD and a Schedule IV drug; possession of drug paraphernalia; felony possession of marijuana; maintaining a dwelling for controlled substance; and felony possession of a Schedule II drug (80 oz. of Codeine).
