5 Fun Things To Do This Weekend In Lake Norman: Oct. 13-15
Brewfest, a corn maze and street festivals are all among the fun things to do near Lake Norman this weekend.

Autumn is in full swing this weekend in Lake Norman, as area pumpkin patches and farms ramp up seasonal activities. If you’re looking for something fun this weekend, Patch has you covered.
Here is Patch’s list of five fun things to do this weekend in Lake Norman:
- Brewfest at Carolina Renaissance Festival: Each weekend through Nov. 19 you can find costumed players recreating days gone by at the Carolina Renaissance Festival, held north of Charlotte between Concord and Huntersville. 16445 Poplar Tent Road in Huntersville. Weekends Sept. 30 - Nov. 19, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Rural Hill Amazing Maize Maze -- Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Road, Huntersville. Sept. 9 - Nov. 5, Fridays & Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- 2nd Friday Street Festival -- This Cornelius street festival features live music, food trucks, local craft beer and wine, artisans and craftsmen and more. Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak St., Cornelius. Friday, Oct. 13, 6p.m. - 10 p.m.
- Fall Festival at Lazy 5 Ranch -- It’s opening weekend of the Lazy 5’s fall festival, which means not only can you take a wagon ride to feed giraffes, zebras, bison and more, but you can try out the pumpkin slingshot, corn hole, and check out the straw castle. Cash only. The Fall Festival runs Sept. 30 - Oct. 29. 15100 Mooresville Road, Mooresville.
- Downtown Mooresville Uncorked & Artsy -- Wine tasting and art walk in Downtown Mooresville. Tickets are $25 in advance and can be purchased here. Friday, Oct. 13, 6 p.m. - 9 p.m.
