HUNTERSVILLE, NC — From a gourmet four-course dining alfresco to an outdoor movie, there are plenty of fun events happening around the lake this weekend. If you're looking for something to do, Patch has you covered.

The Lake Norman’s rainy weather of late will likely continue into the weekend. Rain continues in the forecast through the weekend, and humid highs of near 90 degrees. There’s a 30 percent chance of afternoon showers Saturday and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.

Here are five events to check out around Davidson, Cornelius and Huntersville this weekend:

  • Ten4Ten Benefit Dinner — 11 award-winning Chefs will prepare an amazing family style meal featuring delicious locally grown products from market vendors.   • Segway Adventure Tour — Explore the trails of Latta Plantation Nature Preserve! Learn to ride these self-balancing all-terrain Segways and see nature like never before!
