Adults, Kids Displaced By Large Condo Fire In Huntersville: HFD
A predawn fire at the Admiral Quarters apartments displaced nearly a dozen people Monday morning, according to fire officials.
HUNTERSVILLE, NC — An early morning fire at a Huntersville condominium complex is under investigation Monday morning after nearly a dozen people and their pets are displaced from their homes, according to firefighters.
Firefighters from two stations in Huntersville, as well as Cornelius, responded to the blaze at the Admiral Quarters apartments in the 18740 block of Nautical Drive, and reported “heavy fire showing on arrival.”
A CATS city bus was brought to the scene to provide warmth for the eight adults and three children who were displaced while fire crews worked to extinguish the fire. Fire officials also requested Red Cross assist residence with temporary housing, Huntersville Fire said.
