Clearing Skies Ahead For Huntersville. But First, More Rain

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — The Charlotte-metro and Lake Norman regions— like most of the state — received a thorough drenching over the weekend. Brace yourself because, according to the National Weather Service, there could be more to come before skies clear later in the week.

“Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are expected this afternoon and evening. Cloud to ground lightning, gusty winds, and brief heavy rainfall are the main threats,” NWS said in a weather bulletin Monday.

The main chance of rain will be throughout Monday until midday Tuesday, NWS said. By Tuesday night, conditions clear with sunny skies expected every day until the weekend.

Daily temperatures will remain moderate, with highs hovering in the mid 80s, with daily lows around 68, NWS said.
