Colonial Pipeline Gas Leak Update
Late Friday afternoon, Colonial Pipeline detected a leak in one of their undgeround lines crossing under Huntersville-Concord Road. Crews have been on-site since then working to repair the line. The road is closed at Lawther Rd and Absury Chapel Rd to through traffic and signs are up to detour traffic through the area. Colonial Pipeline has created a website to provide daily updates and provide residents a vehicle for asking questions (see below).

Detour Info: Huntersville-Concord Rd is closed at Lawther Rd & Asbury Chapel Rd. The marked detour is Glenwood Dr to Ramah Church Rd to Hiwasee Rd and reverse.
