Concord Mills shopping mall was evacuated due to a fire Wednesday afternoon, according to reports.

CONCORD, NC — A fire in Concord Mills prompted an evacuation of the suburban Charlotte shopping mall Wednesday afternoon, according to reports.
CFD and HFD companies currently on the scene of a working fire at Concord Mills Mall,” said Jeff Tracey, president of the Cabarrus Professional Firefighters Association in a tweet. “Fire is out and evacuation in progress.”

A small fire was reported in a back isolated corridor at Concord Mills Mall. Quickly put out by Concord Fire. No injuries. The mall is closed at this time due to smoke. DLB
