DoorDash Food Delivery Service Expands To North Charlotte, Huntersville, Cornelius

If you live in North Charlotte and the Huntersville area, you now have more restaurant delivery options.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- If you don’t feel like cooking or going out for dinner tonight and you live in North Charlotte and some areas near Lake Norman, there’s good news. Beginning Wednesday, DoorDash restaurant delivery service has expanded their operations and will be offering home delivery from hundreds of area restaurants.

DoorDash’s expansion into the North Charlotte and Huntersville area comes on the heels of their successful 2016 launch in Charlotte, which was their 23rd delivery market. Starting Sept. 13, the company will now deliver to communities in North Lake, University, Concord Mills and Huntersville with some deliveries stretching to the southern end of Cornelius, the company said.

"Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint is extremely pleased that DoorDash will be expanding its service territory into the Northlake/University/Huntersville area, as our experience with the platform in our Midtown Charlotte location has been outstanding," Uncle Maddio's Pizza Joint owner, Tim Verhagen, said.
