Easter Forecast: When Can Huntersville Expect To See Rain?

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — After a weekend of less than perfect weather, it’s going to finally start to feel like spring in the Charlotte metro area this week. The start of spring, however, means warming temperatures come with the threat of possible showers.

Expect cloudy skies Tuesday and Wednesday, when the region will undergo a temperature swing from a high of near 50 to 70 degrees on Wednesday. The warming trend will continue Thursday, when the daily high is expected to reach 75.

Thursday, we’ll also start to see the chance of rain creep into the forecast, with a 20 percent chance of precipitation during the day. Thursday night, however, the chance of rain goes up to 50 percent.

You’ll need to keep an umbrella on hand Friday, when showers become likely after 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service.

Clouds will likely move out by the start of Easter weekend, with sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-60s expected Saturday and Sunday.
