Gas ‘Flaring’ May Occur During Line Work In Huntersville: HFD
Residents may see "flaring" as contractors inspect and clean a large gas line on McCoy Road in Huntersville this week, fire officials said.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville residents may see “flaring” as contractors inspect and clean a large gas line on McCoy Road in Huntersville this week, fire officials said.
The work on the gas line in the 11000 block of McCoy Road will be ongoing through Thursday, Huntersville Fire said.
The “flaring” is a natural procedure and can occur when evacuated gas is burned off, HFD said.
