HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Rain clouds have finally moved on and summer will finally be in full effect this week in the Charlotte metro region, with plenty of sunshine and warm seasonal temperatures, according to forecasters.

Sunny skies will be on tap every day this week, which temperatures topping out in the mid to high 80s, according to the National Weather Service. Enjoy it while you can. The chance of rain will creep back into the forecast Friday evening with rain chances around 30 percent through the weekend.
