Huntersville Halloween Update: Please Plan Accordingly if Weather Becomes Severe

Happy Halloween! Over the last few days, the Town has received a number of calls and messages asking if the town would change the date of trick-or-treating locally.

The Town of Huntersville has typically never set an “official” date/time for trick-or-treating locally. Given the forecast of possible severe weather this afternoon-evening for our area, we want to encourage our residents to be as safe as possible, especially if that weather arrives around trick-or-treat time.

Based on calls and social media posts, we understand neighborhoods/HOAs are considering trick-or-treating Friday night as an alternative due to weather. We recommend our neighborhoods and HOA's utilize their social media networks and other notification channels to get the word out to your neighbors about any changes or times to trick-or-treating in your neighborhood.
