Huntersville Mother Charged With Murder Of 4-Year-Old Son
Huntersville police began investigating the woman in October after the medical examiner said her son's death was "suspicious."

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — A Huntersville mother has been charged with murder following the death of her 4-year-old son five months ago, according to police.
On Monday, Huntersville Police Department obtained warrants for Lashonda Yvette Hudson, 36, on the murder charge, as well as negligent child abuse inflicting serious bodily injury of her involvement in her son’s death in October of last year.
Hudson was taken into custody March 25, HPD said.

According to WBTV, police began investigating the child’s death after they were notified by the Medical Examiner’s Officer that it was “suspicious.”
