HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville Police Department’s newest member loves playing with tennis balls and eating ice.

Igor, a nearly two-year-old Belgian Malinois, and his handler Officer Ferrell, are HPD’s newest handler/K9 duo, it announced this week.

According to HPD, Igo is certified in narcotics detection, trailing and patrol.

And, in addition to tennis balls and ice cubes, Igor reportedly has an affinity for hot dogs.
