Huntersville Police Welcome K9 Igor To The Force

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville Police Department’s newest member loves playing with tennis balls and eating ice.

Igor, a nearly two-year-old Belgian Malinois, and his handler Officer Ferrell, are HPD’s newest handler/K9 duo, it announced this week.

According to HPD, Igo is certified in narcotics detection, trailing and patrol.
