Huntersville Waffle House Robbed At Gunpoint: Police

The robbery suspect had a gun when he demanded cash around 4 a.m. at the Statesville Road Waffle House, Huntersville Police said.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Huntersville police are asking for the public’s help in locating a suspect they said robbed a Waffle House on Statesville Road at gunpoint early Wednesday morning.

The incident occurred shortly after 4:15 a.m. at the restaurant located at 14106 Statesville Road in Huntersville.

According to a police report, the male suspect, who is described as slim with shoulder length black hair, was armed when he entered the eatery and demanded cash. No one was injured in the robbery, police said.

The suspect was wearing black pants, grey hoodie, gold framed glasses and a white and black baseball style hat, and was carrying a black drawstring bag, police said.
