Huntersville Weather: Possible Frost This Week

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- It’s finally time to start digging out warm sweaters as freezing temperatures could take over the Lake Norman metro area by Wednesday, according to forecasters.

Temperatures throughout the Charlotte metro area will top out in the 60s in the early part of the week, with lows in the 40s. By Thursday and Friday, however, the mercury will rise a bit, with highs reaching 76.

Frost or freeze could become possible Oct. 18, the National Weather Service said Monday in a hazardous weather outlook that includes Mecklenburg and Iredell Counties.
