Huntersville Weekend Events: Cooking Class, Christmas In July
Need something to do this weekend? Here are some of the events going on near Huntersville and in the Lake Norman region.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- If you’re looking for something to do in the Huntersville and Lake Norman area, we’ve got a list of highlights for you.
Rain continues to be a possibility for the Lake Norman region leading into the weekend, as the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for the piedmont of North Carolina Friday. Rain is likely to emerge Friday afternoon in the Queen City region, as the potential for storms grows after 3 p.m., NWS said. These storms could produce torrential rain and lightning, it warned. Chances for rain are expected throughout the weekend, with a 60 percent chance on Saturday and 40 percent chance on Sunday.
