It's going to be a sunny and chilly weekend in the Lake Norman region. Here's what you can expect in the weekend forecast.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC -- This weekend’s weather in the Lake Norman region will have a little bit of everything: wind, sunny days, chilly temperatures and even a chance of rain.
Temperatures will peak at 64 degrees Saturday, which could also see wind gusts up to 22 miles per hour, according to the National Weather Service. With the increased winds also comes a chance of rain. There is a 60 percent chance of rain Saturday night.

Sunny, with a high near 59. Light south southeast wind.

Breezy, with a south southwest wind 10 to 20 mph becoming west northwest after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
