Huntersville's Weekend Weather: When You Can Expect Rain
This weekend, the Charlotte-metro area will likely see rain and cloudy skies. Here's when you'll need your umbrella.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — This weekend will likely be a soggy one with cooling temperatures dipping to around freezing in the evening, according to the latest regional forecast from the National Weather Service.
Clouds are expected to move into the Charlotte-metro area Friday, with the chance of rain starting in the evening. Showers and possible thunderstorms move in Saturday, when the chance of rain is 80 percent.
Temperatures will be cooler Saturday, with a high of about 63, and will dip to the low 30s in the evening, NWS said.

Skies will likely clear up Sunday, offering a brief reprieve and chillier temperatures. Sunday’s high will likely be in the mid to high 50s. The start of the work week April 9 will see at least a 50 percent chance of rain throughout the day into the evening.
