New Year's Eve is less than a month away. Here's your guide to fireworks and events happening in the Lake Norman area.

HUNTERSVILLE, NCβ Love it or hate it, New Year's Eve is less than a week away. Whether you plan to ring in 2018 at your favorite restaurant, a buzzing party with your friends, or all cozied up in front of the TV, we've got you covered.
It's going to be a cold week in the Charlotte-metro area, with wintry weather and a chance for snow moving into the region before New Year's Day. If you do venture out, youβll want to bundle up on New Year's Eve. The low is expected to dip to around 23 degrees. You can find more information about the New Yearβs weather forecast here.
So pop the bubbly, come up with some resolutions you can actually stick to and get ready to celebrate the New Year. New Yearβs Eve Masquerade Party
Join the folks at Pangea Tapas for a masquerade, champagne toast and balloon drop at midnight.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, begins at 9 p.m.
Where: Pangea Tapas Bar & Grill, 13016 Eastfield Road, Huntersville.

Brew Year's Eve Celebration
The folks at Ghostface Brewing are saying goodbye to 2017 with a night of beer, food and music. On tap will be ciders, beers, mead and wine, with food provided by KA Kitchen & Lounge. Southern Style Band will be playing live throughout the night.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, doors open at 9 p.m.
Where: Ghostface Brewing Brewery & Pizzeria, 427 East Statesville Ave., Mooresville
How to buy tickets: Tickets are $50 a person before Dec. 22, then $60 per person until the day of the event. Tickets can be purchased here.
New Yearβs Eve Party at Galway Hooker
Celebrate the backside of 2017 along with the 10th anniversary of Galway Hooker Irish Pubβs annual ringing in of the new year. A ticket to this party will get you access to four full open bars, two buffets, beer, wine and champagne at midnight. VIP tables are available, too.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, doors open at 8 p.m.
Where: Galway Hooker Irish Pub, 17044 Kenton Drive, Cornelius
How to buy tickets: Tickets are $65 in advance and may be purchased at the pub or online.
Charlotte New Yearβs Eve
This annual event is the Queen Cityβs official New Yearβs Eve celebration and will include Crown Town, food vendors, food trucks, a DJ, a live band and a huge fireworks display at midnight.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, 8 p.m. through midnight
Where: Romare Bearden Park, 300 S. Church Street, Charlotte
Lenny Boyβs New Yearβs Eve Dance Party
If youβre looking for a party venue with no dress code or cover charge, then this dance party might be for you. There will be live music, $4 champagne, $15 beer pitchers a food truck and new beer releases.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, 6 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Where: Lenny Boy Brewing Co., 3000 South Tryon St., Charlotte
New Yearβs Eve 2018 at Rooftop 210
Take in the Queen Cityβs skyline with friends at Rooftop 210 at the EpiCentre. A ticket to this all inclusive event includes a heated and covered space with clear top tents with DJs. The appetizer buffet will be served early and the bar will be open all night long.
When: Sunday, Dec. 31, from 9 p.m. to 1:30 a.m.
Where: Rooftop 210, 210 East Trade St., Charlotte.

As these two are best friends in real life, you can expect tons witty banter and hilarious moments from the pair. The Bravo mogul will replace Cooperβs former co-host Kathy Griffin, whom CNN fired after her controversial Donald Trump photoshoot.
βDick Clarkβs New Yearβs Rockinβ Eve 2018β Hosted by Ryan Seacrest
Where to catch it: ABC
Why you should watch: Remember last yearβs infamous Mariah Carey mic incident? Yes, it happened on Seacrestβs watch. So if thatβs any indication, this could be a good one to tune-in to. And even if there arenβt any crazy celebrity snafus, you can count on crazy views of Time Square packed with people, as well as awesome musical performances.
