Kayak Tour, Lobster Brunch: Huntersville This Weekend
From live music and a kayak tour, to a 5K trail run, there are plenty of fun things going on this weekend in Huntersville.

HUNTERSVILLE, NC — Summer is winding down and there’s plenty to do around Huntersville to make the most of the sunshine and moderate weather. There is live music, a kayaking tour on Mountain Island Lake, an arts festival in Cornelius and, if you’re hoping for one last taste of summer, a lobster brunch.
Here are five events to check out in Huntersville this weekend:
- The Bearded Buddhas at The Vinyl Pi — Friday, Sept. 21, 8 p.m. - 11 p.m., The Vinyl Pi, 15906 Old Statesville Road, Huntersville.
- Wildlife Kayak Tour on Upper Mountain Island Lake — Saturday, Sept. 22, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., Latta Plantation Nature Center, 6211 Sample Road, Huntersville.
- ‘Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival — Saturday, Sept. 22, 2 p.m. - 8 p.m., Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak Street, Cornelius.
- Cousins Maine Lobster Brunch — Sunday, Sept. 23, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., Hunter House & Gardens, 412 S. Old Statesville Road, Huntersville.
- Lighthouse 5K Trail Run and Family Health Fair — Sunday, Sept. 23, 8:30 a.m. North Mecklenburg Park, Huntersville.
